Sing! Small Group Resource

Why is the topic of singing so important? The answer to this question can be found in Colossians 3:16, where the Apostle Paul says, "Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom. singing Psalms and hymns and spiritual songs with thankfulness in your hearts to the Lord." 2,000 years ago, Paul understood and taught the importance of singing and considered it to be a vital component of Christian community. Through singing, we not only teach and admonish one another, but the word of Christ that is the gospel also comes to dwell in us more richly, and when the gospel is given sufficient room to dwell within us, then it is a mighty force that can influence our lives. God's love and Christ's gospel compel us to sing! Click on the button below to learn more about how singing can transform our worship, our lives, our families, and our Church.
